The Metropolitan Museum of Art Suggested Donation

When your stroll through Central Park is coming to an end, why don't you end it at The Metropolitan Museum of Art?! Sitting right on Central Park on the East Side it is sure easy to get to. Affordable too! The Metropolitan Museum of Art is a would renown art museum. Out of the millions of pieces of art here; there something is bound to meet your fancy. From sculptures to paintings from all over the world. Everything you can imagine, they have. All easily accessible for a small donation.

NOTE: Recently there has been much ado about a lawsuit that may have implications to the 'pay-what-you-wish' policy.  The policy is still in place and you can read more from the museum director on the subject here.

Admission is suggested donation. That means they suggest you pay $5 - $25 and we suggest you do too, unless you really can't afford to... in that case, you can pay what you are able to!  Art that is accessable to everyone! Children are always free.

Sunday–Thursday: 10 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
Friday and Saturday: 10 a.m.–9:00 p.m.
