River Flicks | Free Movies in the Park - Pier 63

Come out and enjoy fantastic movies in one of your favorite parks. A screen is set up with a background of the beautiful Hudson River! Oh... and Jersey but you can ignore that - no big deal.  It’s a great event to go to with friends or that special someone. Bring a blanket and a bottle of wine and some grub, whatever meets your fancy. There is a lot of room, but get there early for the best viewing area. Sitting near the center is ideal. Although, when it gets really dark, most spots are acceptable. It’s a big screen almost the size of some studio apartments.

Every Wednesday there are films shown that are rated PG 13 to R.  Movies begin at dusk, usually around 8:30pm.  Free popcorn is given out, and other concessions are available to buy.
